Another year, another Duck Beach Trip. We rent a house from our friends who rent it during Memorial Day weekend. Most people leave after the holiday to get back to work so the house is mostly empty. We take advantage since Lincoln has a flexible work schedule and can take off a couple of days to go to the Beach :)
This year we left on Lincoln's Birthday. So before the drive over i wanted to make sure he woke up to a little birthday love. Happy 33rd Birthday Lincoln!
On the drive over we saw this crazy thing. A car on fire on the side of the road. The driver was standing a little ways away, on the phone with the police.
When we arrived Lincoln's mom ordered him an ice-cream cake from Dairy Queen. And we all enjoyed it ;)
Oh the beach!!
This place is heaven on earth.
And this baby is to die for!! So stinkin cute in her swimsuit!
All kids need to be happy is SAND.
At night we went and saw the crabs that come out. The kids were a little terrified.
The Fischers spent a day with us too.
And most of the week Jon and Melissa Smith and their kids came and stayed with us. The kids had so much fun playing together. We love these guys!
Eva and Lila
Emerson loves hats
Eliza's first time in the pool
A beautiful evening stroll on the beach
Hazy morning run
We stayed another night at this awesome house. It was so fun.
Then it was time to go back home to real life.
Eva's birthday was soon after we got back. At preschool Brianna made Eva cookies and put a candle in her's and sang happy birthday.
This girl is now 4 years old! And all she wanted for her birthday was a barbie doll.
Little Emerson watching cartoons... that kid.
The kids always ask to cuddle with me as they fall asleep. And the toddler bed is a little tight
Now that Eliza is old enough, I have been enjoying taking classes. I tried out my first "ladder" class at Fuse pilates. So fun!
Lots and lots of snuggle time. Usually it's during nap time. When Emerson is sleeping and Eva gets to watch cartoons all by herself. I get some quiet time with my baby. It's my favorite time of day.
Seriously, don't you just want to eat her up!!! So dang cute!!
Sleeping babies on your chest make everything better. Too bad we cant bottle this feeling up and save it for days :)
Tori walking out for her middle school graduation. She asked us all to attend. The kids enjoyed it. And even Lincoln took off work to attend.
Eva got a little bored and took some awesome pictures of her dad.
The kids congratulating Tori
On a side note, Lincoln is on crutches because he hurt his knee while playing soccer. He thought he might have torn his ACL. He couldn't walk on it for about a week. Then it started to get better.
