Congresswoman Essig? What?!

Check out this email I recieved today:

Dear Representative Essig:

In light of President Obama's remarks about clean energy in the State of the Union – calling for 80 percent of U.S. electricity to come from clean energy sources by 2035 – The Washington Auto Show® invites you to see some of the game-changing innovations in the automotive industry at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The Washington Auto Show takes seriously its role as the “public policy show” on the automotive show circuit and draws together leading thinkers in industry and government to address the role of the automotive sector in moving the country forward.

If you and your staff would like to attend, we would be honored to host you. Don’t hesitate to call the show office at 202-249-5060.

Best wishes,

Gerard Murphy
Producer
The Washington Auto Show

Too funny. Didn't know I could be called Representative without actually being elected to represent...

I am sure some poor intern out there is probabley feeling really bad right now for their form email mistake.
