Jan, our neighbor across the street absolutely adores my kids. When she first met Emerson when he was a baby she said that she had felt that it wasn't the first time her spirit had met him. He seemed familiar to her.
We love visiting the Smith's. And Jon and Lincoln enjoy watching cartoons with the kids.
Lincoln wants to make sure that Emerson knows how to work. Teaching him how to mow the lawn young :) Also, Emerson just really enjoys it. The lawn mower is cool. It makes lots of noise.
And he's so cute doing it.

This girl loves make-up. And she is getting pretty good at putting it on herself.
Lincoln's birthday dinner, on our way to the Outer Banks.
All you need is sand and water to make for an amazing vacation with kids.

This vacation was possible because of the generosity of our friends in the singles ward where Lincoln serves in the Bishopric. Every Memorial Day weekend many of the singles in the area rent houses and go to the OBX. Since the house rentals have to be for a whole week, and most singles only stay for the weekend, the houses are left mostly empty. So this year we reached out to a friend of ours who is in charge of a house and he let us stay with their house after the weekend. It was awesome to be in a huge house with such great people. One of my favorite family vacations yet!
Nothing better then having my sweet baby fall asleep on me. It's just the best.
The beautiful home we stayed in.

We came back in time to celebrate Eva's 3rd birthday!
This kid is getting so big!
Working out with kids. Emerson and Eva love to be right next to me... always :)
And these two sure do love each other. Most of the time.
Eva: "Emerson, why are you drinking the water?!"
Stroller sharing. Way better than lugging around a double stroller.
Lincoln can really make Emerson fly

Emerson found Lincoln's Argentine Souvenirs. Totally kid safe of course :)
My friend Rachel Allen came into town and Melissa Smith and I met up with her for lunch. The cute kids: Harper, Lila, Hazel, Eva, Van and Emerson
I'm always the last to fall asleep
The U at the Zoo (University of Utah DC Alumni Chapter at the National Zoo)
Sprinkers: Cheap, easy entertainment. Perfect for hot, humid Virginia summer afternoons.
And popsicles. In the summer, popsicles become the kids 6th food group.
This summer my sweet friend Robin approached me and asked if I wanted to participate in making a pilates app. We took thousands of pictures. It was a lot of work, but is still going to take quite some time to get it up and going. (since we are doing everything on our own)
Tori entertaining Emerson while we continue our photoshoot.
Emerson is a much cuter model than we are.
I love watching my beautiful children as they sleep. They are so peaceful and sweet when they are not awake :)
These kids are lucky to have such a great dad.
