3 wonderful years

This year for our anniversary, Lincoln and I decided to take a "stay-cation" and spend the night in DC. Our anniversary was on a Tuesday, so we both got off early then scheduled work so that we could get in late the next morning.

We first went to an AMAZINGLY nice restaurant--Tosca. Best Italian we have ever tried. The restaurant was so nice that we kind of felt like impostors the whole time we were there... And it was pretty expensive so I just ordered a salad, but that salad was amazing. Lincoln's food was to die for.

Then we went to see a movie and went back to our hotel. We had one last free night to use from Lincoln's points, so we booked a night at the Willard Hotel. (one of the oldest/nicest hotels in DC). When we got there, they told us that we were bumped to the Kennedy Suite... little did we know that the hotel room was actually BIGGER than our apartment. It was INCREDIBLE. We felt so fancy the whole time. It had two bathrooms, a sitting room, a bedroom, a little dining area. Seriously, it was HUGE. And all for free. Definitely the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

So as you can imagine we loved our little "stay-cation." The next day we slept in, worked out, went out to breakfast together and then went into work. My type of a dream stay-cation.
