White House Garden Tour

Lincoln and I got tickets to the White House Garden Tour. It only happens twice a year, so we jumped on the opportunity when it came. The "gardens" of the White House are beautiful. And even though it was slightly chilly, we really enjoyed ourselves.

They had pictures of past presidents and all the trees they planted everywhere.

The Jacqueline Kennedy Garden

By far the best picture pose all day. Oh he looks so hot. Not quite sure what he was going for though.
The Rose Garden
And then we saw Obama running with his dog!
And JFK with his horse.
The Oval of the Oval Office
The windows to the Oval Office
And one of the biggest surprises of the "gardens" was the mini golf course.
And the play set. The newest addition.

There were a lot of people around. We had to fight the crowds and long lines.

But this band played patriotic music the whole time.
Which made the experience much more enjoyable.

Does this shot look straight from a movie or what?
Looking at this guy's gun was the favorite part of the tour for Lincoln.

Just waiting in line.

The children's "garden" was the last stop on the tour.

And then we left.
It was so fun to play tourist for the afternoon.
